While we attend school under the cold and tundra like conditions, we get to continue our digital imaging 2 processes. Aka as writing a blog about the games we like, and the games we didn't like quiet as much.
Alot of the games we had to choose from were pretty cool (it should be known, we didn't really get to experience the whole entirity of every game thanks to some school blocking, but that's okay), but by far my favorite was Medical Mysteries. (http://medmyst.rice.edu/index.html). You played the game as a new team member of the "Reconstructors" (forgive my spelling errors) who were trying to teach the world how to be healthy, and prevent the pesky diseases that we meet in everday day life. What I liked about the game was, that it put you in a situation where you had to think, but it was still fun. The game also teaches you about things that are useful to common every day usage. What I didn't like is that the game started to get a bit repetitive with the information you learned in the tutorial.
The "social learning" game I liked of of Globaloria was Go Rabbit, Go! It was a cute game concept, and even though it has minor glitches it's still alot of fun, even though I complained about it because my frustration level reached a peak due to the navigation control only being the spacebar. ( http://www.myglife.org/usa/wv/resources/en/play/Social/rabbitgame)
What I didn't like about the game was the whole navigation thing with the rabbit, it was actually really frustrating once you got to a certain level, but other than that, there wasn't really anything else I had a problem with, except the level of difficutly never really got that much harder.
